About Purabi Khan

Purabi is an accomplished professional who has seamlessly transitioned from a successful teaching career into the thriving corporate landscape. With an academic background in Commerce, complemented by a successful career in Education and Teaching, and a deep passion for creating meaningful impact, she was appointed as the International Group Manager at KHI Partners in 2022. Since 2023, Purabi has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer at KHI Partners, bringing strong strategic vision and leadership to the organisation.

Having previously been appointed by the Department of Education, Purabi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at KHI Partners. Her experience in the education sector has equipped her with strong leadership capabilities, adaptability, versatility, and a deep understanding of organisational dynamics.

In her current role as Group Chief Operating Officer, Purabi oversees the group’s operations, drives strategic growth and expansion initiatives, and ensures the organisation’s talent management strategies align with its long-term vision and values. She also co-leads KHI’s offshore operations in The Philippines, India and Bangladesh, ensuring seamless coordination across global teams to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Purabi is deeply committed to philanthropy. She is the Founder, Chair, and Chief Executive Officer of Hope TKF Animal Welfare Foundation, and also serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Khan Foundation. Both The Khan Foundation and Hope TKF Animal Welfare Foundation are international charities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Through these organisations, she leads initiatives across Africa and Asia, focusing on health, education, and animal welfare, creating sustainable and meaningful impact in underserved communities.
